Dean Wood Manor is a care home that provides long-term facilities for up to 50 elderly residents, as well as specialising in meeting the needs of dementia sufferers, who are able to maintain as interesting and active a lifestyle as possible under the home's care and guidance.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a key role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable and cared for — day and night — while supporting the wider care team to deliver exceptional standards of care.
This includes:
- Delivering personal care with dignity and compassion
- Supporting residents’ emotional wellbeing and independence
- Supervising and supporting less experienced staff
- Ensuring care staff adhere to CQC guidelines and best practices
- Promoting high standards of care throughout the home
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe environment
- Accurately completing care documentation and handovers
- Taking responsibility and using initiative when required
- Supporting residents living with dementia and elderly care needs
(Night roles also include light cleaning duties to support the home)

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within a care or nursing home setting
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care required
- Alternate weekend availability required
- Enhanced DBS required
- No sponsorship available
